HUNTER BLITZER TYPE EQUIPS LEVEL AND SHIT

(Revo-Classic players, you might want to see this guide)

Introduction

                Blitzers are hunters that emphasize the use of their falcons instead of just using their bow to deal damage. Blitzers are known for their lightning fast aspd and high dmg to high def monsters. They are also usefull in locking monsters where they stand :D









As with any other job class, blitzers have advantages and disadvantages. Here are some of them:

Advantages
• The falcon ignores DEF, so high DEF monsters are not a threat
• Fast aspd
• Most blitzers have high INT, thus giving them sufficient sp for trapping
• Its fun to watch the falcon fly! :P
• Pure blitzers can use any bow since bow dmg is almost negligible.
• Normal arrows will suffice, since the falcon damage is emphasized.

Disadvantages
• Pure blitzers have low DEX, meaning low bow dmg and low hit
• Blitzers deal dmg over time, while DEX hunters deal damage instantly (through DS)
• Blitzers use up arrows fast. ( I use 1.2k arrows per awakening potion)
• You need at least 30 base LUK for the falcon to autoblitz frequently.


Stats

STR: the only use of STR to blitzers (and hunters in general) is for added weight capacity. So either leave it at 1 or get enough to carry all the traps, arrows, and/or pots that you want.
Suggested base stat: 1 or as many as you want. (remember to not take too much from the four important blitzer stats.)

AGI: the 1st important stat of the blitzers. AGI is for aspd and flee rate. I suggest a minimum of 80 base AGI and maximum of 99. Later, I will post my analysis of how high aspd can help your blitz rate.  Suggested base stat: min of 80, max 99

VIT: this stat is for PvP/WoE hunters. Pure PvM blitzers can leave this stat at 1 (but a little VIT can’t hurt).
Suggested base stat: 1 for pure PvM; 18, 28, or 38 for PvP/WoE (hunters have a jbonus of +2 VIT)

INT: the 2nd important blitzer stat. every 2 INT adds an additional 10 dmg to your blitz damage (2 dmg x 5 hits). INT also increases the total sp, sp recovery rate every 6 INT, and additional trap damage.
Suggested base stat: 9 to a max of 60. Remember to make the final count divisible by 2.

DEX: the 3rd important blitzer stat. Every 10 DEX adds an additional 10 dmg to your blitz damage and a bow damage bonus. This stat varies from blitzer to blitzer depending on the player’s personal preference. My advice on this specific stat is to make its final count divisible by 10 to fully take advantage of the bonuses. (e.g., 90 DEX does not differ much from 99 DEX in terms of damage. Either find a way to make it 100 DEX or adjust it to leave it at 90.) This stat also determines the hit rate and adds a bit to aspd.
Suggested base stat: pure blitzers have less than 40, while semi-blitzer DEX hunters should have as much as they want. Just remember to make the final total divisible by 10.

LUK: the 4th important blitzer stat. LUK determines crit rate, lucky dodge rate, and autoblitz rate. I think a minimum of 30 base is recommended for blitzers. Maxing it is now feasible, since you can now crit and autoblitz at the same time. Most of my friends say that they acquired their preferred blitz rate when they reached 70+ LUK. There are also rumors that say that blitz rate chance goes up every 3 LUK, while some say there is a specific formula. Whichever you choose to believe, remember not to max it.
Suggested base stat: 30 minimum up to how much you want.

1) Hybrid Dex-Blitz

Meet the traditional hunter with a twist. This guy abuses the damage of his bow as well as a bit of luk to aid in blitzing.
Compared to other Blitzers, this build can actually abuse his Double Strafe. Perfect for WoE.


2) The "Pure Blitzer"

Str: 1+4
Agi: 90+21
Vit: 31+2
Int: 36+4
Dex: 5+25
Luk: 90+10

Equips:
Upper: Joker Jester or Bunny Band
Middle: Binoculars
Lower: Any
Body: Tights[1] [Poring]
Garment: Mocking Muffler (highly recommended)

Bow: 4 [Mummy] Comp Bow

Crazy as this build sounds, I've actually seen this build a long time ago in Chaos. His bow damage is absolutely pathetic but the rate of his blitzbeat... wow.
Forget Double Strafe, just ctrl+click and watch the falcon fly. Mostly, it'll be your lucky dodge rate (a whooping 22%) that will save your ***.


3) The Blitzer

Str: 10+4
Agi: 99+20
Vit: 14+2
Int: 46+4
Dex: 30+30
Luk: 70+10

Equips:
Upper: Joker Jester or Bunny Band
Middle: Binoculars
Lower: Any
Body: Tights[1] [Poring]
Garment: Mocking Muffler

Accessories: 2 Rosary[1] [Kobold or Yoyo]
Bow: 2 [Mummy+any other card] Arbalest

This is actually desgined to survive PvM and rendered absolutely useless in PvP and WoE. This build can survive almost every map in Rune-Midgard w/o a priest (as of date of writing).
With a total of 50 int, you'd rarely have to stop to regen SP, even after healing yourself from 1 HP to full. The Str is there to carry a large amount of arrows since you'll be needing them. (on average I carry 10k arrows ans use em in less than 2 hours).
In WoE, you almost never run out of SP to set up countless Ankle Snares and Shockwave traps, especially with Magnificat in effect.

5 Freezing Trap (IMO, best mob control for non-water element and non-undead monsters)
1 Landmine (pre-req of Remove Trap)

19 more skill points used. 13 Skill points left. I leave these points up to you. You can get the other status traps for undead/water element monsters or take the damage traps or max the other falcon skills (detect/spring trap) or max out beast bane if you like.

Leveling As A Blitzer

Novice-Archer Days
if you have VIT in your build I suggest you do this. it helps leveling as a novice tremendously ^___^
Starting stats:
9 AGI, 9 INT, 5 VIT, 5 DEX
that 5 VIT will keep you alive in the novice training area longer than a 1 VIT build will.

If not, these are the suggested starting stats:
9 AGI, 9 INT, 9 DEX

Oh yeah, I’m assuming, this isn’t your first character, so I don’t have to help you through your novice days/ hours/ or minutes even (basically, you should ask your friends (nicely) to tank you ^___^)

This is what my archer did:
11-30 Mandragora Forest. I raised my DEX to its final count of 30 here, and raised my INT to 30 as well. Oh yeah, as soon as I reached base level 18, I used my +8 Triple Hurricane Great Bow. (Laugh if you want, this is what I used until I changed jobs =P) After getting both stats to 30, I started on my AGI.

31-50+ Elder Willow Forest, Payon. I stayed here from 31 until job change (jlvl 42). With my “special” bow, 30 base DEX, and crystal arrows, I was able to kill elders with 1 DS (san ka pa? hehe :P) The same goes for the Eggyras that are also in that map. Just ignore the Bigfoots since thay can easily kill you when you get stunned  If your wondering why I stayed there until jlvl 42, its because my bow dmg is too low for me to venture anywhere else, also, when I got to base lvl 40+, I was able to dodge most of the attacks of the elders and eggyras so I didn’t have to bring pots ^___^

Full-fledged Hunter
As soon as I changed jobs, I stopped adding points to my AGI and started on my LUK. My AGI was about 70 at that time and raised my LUK until about 46.

58 – 70 - Sandman map (fire arrows + boned weapon)
60 – 75 – Toy Factory 2
70 – 75 - Zenorcs
75- onwards – Turtle Island

With Booster:
